Downgrading to an older phone might not be too bad.

 Hi everyone, this is Easton I am sorry I have not been posting a lot lately (I forgot my password) but today I am here to tell you that it is not the end of the world if you think you have wasted your time mindlessly watching YouTube videos or TikTok's sure, downloading an app timer seems like the best option, but in the long run you can just delete the app blocker. Which is why I decided that the best way to eliminate a good portion of screen time is to find your old phone or get an old phone from before 2010 (because that is pretty old for a phone) and use it instead of your new phone. This is because it can still function as a phone, but it does not and is usually incapable to download new apps that boost dopamine levels and suck you in like how social media does. I am now using a Blackberry curve from 2009 a phone that is now 16 years old which is crazy to think about. Have a great day

The Reusage of old Desktop Computers

 If you are like me you like to reuse things like plastic bags and past backpacks but usually you don't just keep a laptop or desktop or an old phone because they become outdated eventually. Not me I like to use a phone or other device until it is absolutely not useable which is why I still use an iPhone 8 and mainly a Dell Inspiron 5520 loaded with windows vista. They get the job done! And once they do give out, I will repair them I plan on installing Linux on my Dell and I will continue using my 8 well into my 20s (I hope). The fact is that if it has been around for so long and still preforms basic functionality it’s a good device. Although I’m pretty sure Windows Vista comes pre-loaded with viruses.

How I Love Architecture!

 Architecture! One of the best things ever created. To think without it we would not have good looking houses. In my opinion Architecture from the 60s, 70s, and 80s were the best because each generation brought in a new variable like color and style. Like the Lustron home from 1948 that brought Atomic Bomb proof house into the picture (I say this because they were plated with steel and enamel and had a concreate foundation) and the 1950s concreate block house from popular mechanics that brought sturdy to the next level. The point is that there are so many styles to choose from and materials to build with.

Computer Science

As you know from my description, I like fixing things like computers and stuff. which is why I chose to take computer science so I can deep dive into how the code of computers and computer games makes such a wonderful thing. I also am taking computer science so I can eventually make my own games and perhaps software.   

Making Friends

Usually, the second and third day of school is not very eventful but for me it is the whole package! So far, I have met 3 new friends (looks like I can make friends) All of which I can't remember their names, but I will soon enough. I am absolutely horrid at remembering names, but I am really good at remembering faces I could look at someone I met in third grade and have no idea what their name is and like six years later I can still match their faces with the one I saw all that time ago. I can also remember the moment I saw them and what I could see and smell and how hot it was outside. I have created cards that I will hand out to people at my school who I think are eligible for being or already my friend.

Starting Highschool

 Today Is my first day ever of high school and I am so excited to meet all of my peers and teachers for the next 4 years. I think that high school is going to be my favorite 4 years ever because I get to meet new people and work on some of my socializing skills. For me making friends is hard because I can't relate to many people and most people my age are mean to me because I am weird and I carry a briefcase around as a backpack (A personal choice mind you) I am also an old soul, meaning that I am fond of older days for example the 60s - 90s which I probably why I get along better with older people than me than people my age another factor is that I am never up to date with all of these new terms and sayings like Gyatt or Sigma part of me wants to know what they really mean and I do know what they mean I just block it out because in the end it is kind of brain rot but I think it is funny like everyone else.
